- About the Sales Development Representative Role
You will play a key role in delivering Backend.AI's value to more prospective customers in the rapidly growing AI market. Beyond simple sales activities, you will serve as a bridge connecting technology and business, becoming the first point of contact in customers' AI adoption journey and building trustworthy relationships. This is an important position that seeks ways to communicate and collaborate to achieve the best results for both Lablup and our customers.
- Key Responsibilities
- Identify and execute strategies to provide the highest value to prospective customers in the explosively growing and dynamically changing AI market environment.
- Utilize CRM tools, LinkedIn, and other platforms to research prospective clients, identify key decision-makers, and develop personalized approach strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop and execute effective lead generation and pipeline building strategies.
- Continuously learn and develop product knowledge to clearly communicate Backend.AI's technical value and business benefits.
- Manage the entire process from initial contact with prospects to smooth handover to the Sales Account team.
- Periodically check customers' Backend.AI usage status after contract completion and identify additional needs to create upselling opportunities.
- Analyze industry trends and competitor movements to develop effective sales messages and approaches.
- Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in both Korean and English speaking and writing
- Confidence in phone and email communication with prospective customers
- Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in and basic understanding of AI, machine learning, and cloud computing fields
- Communication skills to easily explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Sales, marketing or business development experience at B2B technology companies
- Experience in customer relationship management and customer success
