We are recruiting intern employees to develop Backend.AI, an AI infrastructure platform that simplifies complex GPU operations, together with Lablup.

Lablup Inc., founded in 2015, is a leading AI infrastructure platform company with world-class expertise in AI infrastructure software. We develop Backend.AI, an AI infrastructure operating platform designed to lower barriers to AI adoption and solve technical and operational challenges in compute-intensive research and development environments.

Since our founding, Lablup has grown steadily to serve over 110 customers and currently managing the largest GPU fleet in South Korea. Through partnerships with industry leaders in accelerated computing, we are shaping the future of AI infrastructure in the global market.

Software Development Interns are assigned to frontend or backend roles based on their skills and qualifications during the application review process. 

Interns will work on:

• Developing new features and improving Backend.AI functionality
• Resolving technical issues across frontend and backend systems
• Working with Backend.AI Core, WebUI, and CI/CD automation infrastructure
• Configuring deep learning framework environments for deployment and testing models

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C/C++, Go, or Rust
• Ability to read and write technical documentation in English

• Experience contributing to open source projects or willingness to contribute
• Development experience in Linux/Unix environments
• Understanding of cloud computing and container technologies

• Mid-term and final internship presentations
• Participation in Lablup's internal seminar series, "Pebble Seminar," which covers diverse topics including cutting-edge technologies
