Opening Remarks

Google Developer Experts Sam Witteveen and Kuan Hoong sent warm congratulatory messages for the event. They shared their perspectives on the potential of modular architectures, the evolving role of intelligent agents, and offered valuable insights on this year’s theme, “Composable AI.” We’re grateful to both for taking the time to inspire our audience.

Keynotes

In his opening keynote, Shin outlined Lablup’s vision for AI infrastructure in the era of AGI and introduced the concept of quantifying intelligence. He shared the company’s commitment to moving beyond standard infrastructure and toward measuring and meeting demand for intelligence—summed up in Lablup’s “Democratizing Intelligence for Humanity” mission.

CTO Joongi Kim explored software composability, arguing that true innovation will emerge when modular hardware, abstraction layers, management software, and AI models are combined into a unified, interoperable ecosystem.
