Lablup Inc. develops Backend.AI and relatives for diverse AI researchers, DevOps, and developers who want to commercialize machine learning products. In addition, we are working to expand machine learning technology and develop use-cases by building deep learning models. We are looking forward to joining with us to develop Backend.AI and other projects.
- What you will be doing
- Establish and maintain a robust pipeline from release to deployment, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of our products to customer sites
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, including both automated and manual testing, to ensure the highest level of stability and reliability before production rollouts
- Work closely with development teams to integrate best practices in software development into the deployment process.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to cover various scenarios and edge cases
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimizations
- Maintain detailed documentation of QA activities, test results, and issue resolution
- Continuously explore new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the deployment and QA processes.
- Minimum skills & experiences
- BS in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in a DevOps or QA role, with a focus on establishing and maintaining deployment pipelines
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and QA methodologies
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting for automation tasks
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Comfortable with open-source development methodology and tools
- Ability to read and write technical documentation in English

- Proven expertise in DevOps practices and platform management
- Proficient in automating deployment, scaling, and management of applications, including familiarity with container and VM-based clusters
- Understanding of backend technologies, system calls, file systems, and networking concepts
- Ability to diagnose technical issues based on customer feedback, distinguishing between customer opinions, technical solution problems, or user environment issues to ensure seamless deployment processes
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing high-availability systems for QA environments, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability of testing infrastructures.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in writing technical documentation in English
